Polls in Nebraska are still scheduled to open May 12 for the state’s 2020 primary election, but voters have been encouraged to request early ballots for the primary and vote by mail. As of last week, more than 140,000 early ballots had been mailed to Nebraskans who had requested an early ballot.

Those in Cuming County who requested an early ballot will start to see those ballots in their mailboxes soon. Cuming County Clerk Bonnie Vogltance said some early ballots will be mailed out starting this week.
