Members of the Wisner-Pilger communities got a chance Friday night to celebrate with the Wisner-Pilger FFA students on successful corn, soybean and alfalfa crops. The annual test plot night featured a hot dog/hamburger meal, followed by treks to the two separate fields of crops.

The group first visited the five-acre corn plot just west of Dollar General, then took a drive to the 71 acres of crops southwest of the 18th St. and Hwy. 51 intersection. The 76 combined acres is the most by any FFA organization in the State of Nebraska.
