Polling locations will open in Cuming County and across Nebraska on Tuesday, May 12, but a light voter turnout is expected because of the large number of early ballot requests that were made for the primary election.

Cuming County Clerk Bonnie Vogltance said this week that she has lined up enough people to work at the various polling sites in the county, but that there won’t be as many workers at those sites as in previous elections.
