Wisner-Pilger Schools Superintendent Chad Boyer confirmed to the Wisner News-Chronicle Monday that the Wisner-Pilger football team has been quarantined for two weeks. A football player tested positive for COVID-19 on Sept. 14 and a coach tested positive on Sept. 19.

“Because we had two confirmed positives from the same team within a five-day span, we felt it was best to quarantine the entire team to insure that we didn’t have community exposure or a spread of any kind,” said Boyer.
