Wisner-Pilger Schools will be closed until the end of the school year, according to a letter to students and parents on Facebook by W-P Schools Superintendent Chad Boyer.

The letter, posted Tuesday, stated “on a weekly videoconference with school superintendents, Dr. Matt Blomstedt, Commissioner of the Nebraska Department of Education, recommended schools close for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. On March 23, our ESU#2 school superintendents, in consultation with Three Rivers Health Department and Elkhorn Logan Valley Health Department, have decided to follow the recommendation to not return to school.”
