Over the past year, Citizens State Bank has undergone a major remodeling project and the final result will be on display at a public Open House on Nov. 21.
One of the main things the remodeling achieved is bringing the bank floor to street level, which makes the building more compliant with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA). Before the remodel, the building was accessed by a ramp and stairs into the building. “We wanted to make the building more accessible for everyone,” said Vice President/Cashier Sandy Stigge. “We’ve had people say ‘it’s so nice not to have to go up stairs,’” she added.
